Pesticide Dashboard (Costa Rica)

Developing analytical methodology and visualizations to assess pesticide trade, use, and associated hazards in Costa Rica. This project corrects and consolidates official national data on pesticide trade, calculates the apparent use of pesticides under different scenarios, and creates indicators  for environmental, health, and ecotoxicolical hazards. As a final product, an interactive online tool allows for intuitive exploration, visualization, and analyses.

Part of a consultancy collective for civil society working in climate change, energy, environment, corporate accountability and human rights. Tentacollective provides swift, innovative and justice-centered research, guidance and insights to organizations.

ARISER

Access to crop diversity and resilience of agroecosystems in the semi-arid regions

Currently consulting as data scientist for the ARISER project. The goal of the ARISER project is to provide the first systematic evaluation of the relationship between the circulation of information and seed, crop diversity, and the stability of agricultural production in African arid regions subject to high climate variability.

LICCI

Local Indicators of Climate Change Impacts

LICCI has compiled Indigenous peoples and local communities reports of climate change impacts and adaptations. Such reports are part of a wider knowledge system that guides local livelihoods and relations to the local environment, and can therefore inform interventions to adapt to climate change impacts. Santi is giving support to several researchers in developing and finalizing the scientific outputs of this project.

Global pesticide use and trade database

Collaborating with academic researchers from different universities to develop a methodology that improves upon existing public global pesticide use data by analyzing pesticide trade data from the United Nations Comtrade database.

Human Impact Pathway

Data analyst an information manager for the Human Impact Pathway, a team of world-class academic researcher based at the London School of Economics and supported by the Unithed Nations. The group is developing a unique people-based approach to guide corporations through their social impacts and corporate responsibility.

Sustainability Reporting

Currently developing an online tool to help small and medium companies with their reporting duties under EU legislation following the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This tool aims to simplify and facilitate the integration of ESRS and elevate the reporting using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework through the companies value chains.
